About the room
I am offering a short-term living arrangement in a beautiful 24th-floor apartment with breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Toronto skyline and a large private balcony. You will be sharing the living room, kitchen, and bathroom with me. The building operates as a self-contained community, featuring 24-hour security, and main laundry facilities. It is located steps away from the Sherbourne subway station and the vibrant Church-Wellesley Village.
About the roomies
Hi, I’m Joshua. I’m a creative professional—specifically a writer, filmmaker, and academic researcher—and I spend a lot of time working on my projects from home. Because of this, I treat our shared space as a true sanctuary and prioritize keeping it peaceful, organized, and grounded. I value “quiet sleep mode” and view the apartment as a calm refuge from the busy city.
I share the apartment with my 12-year-old yellow lab, Hudson, who is a wonderful and relaxed companion, so you must be comfortable with dogs! Fortunately, our building is highly pet-friendly and even features a designated pet walk area.
I believe in direct, straightforward communication and an egalitarian living situation based on the “Silver Rule”—treating others as you would want to be treated. I don’t believe in toxic or overbearing house rules, just mutual respect and keeping our shared spaces clean. If you value a creative, respectful, and drama-free environment, we will get along perfectly.
