AGE RESTRICTIONS: preferably looking for someone early 20s - mid 30s (but open to later for the right person) who are understanding that this is a family oriented home. The upstairs currently is occupied by a family consisting of a set of grandparents their daughter and partner plus a 2 year old.

HOUSEHOLD INFO: Suite is currently occupied by me and an outgoing roomate, I’ve lived here for 7 years and I love it. Landlords are some of the chillest people I know. Suite has a dishwasher, new-ish (within a year) washer and dryer, a full bath/shower. Kitchen has standard amenities plus I have various kitchen appliances for household use such as steamer, kettle, toaster oven, crock pot, panini grill thing, microwave, air fryer and toaster. In the common area I have a record player set up with a great sound system also hooked up to the TV. The sound system also has Bluetooth, great for doing chores, making food etc. The room you’d occupy features two windows, a full closet, independently controlled baseboard heating, and 3 outlets situated around room. Landlords put in new flooring in hall and the available room prior to last roomie moving in. We can put up additional shelving where needed to provide extra storage for things! Previous roommates and I have often alternated turns and shared costs of common household items like toilet paper, laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap, butter, and milk etc and I’m more than happy to continue said trend. Chores have mostly been handled in same alternating way to try and ensure fair balance in household. The landlord’s prefer no smoking or vaping on property, but I’ve been allowed respectful usage of a greenhouse in an agreement with upstairs tenants and there’s a stellar street corner we used for years. I do not drink but smoke marijuana regularly. I’m chill with drinking in moderation but would rather someone who’s also “California Sober” or mostly drinks out of the house or at gatherings/parties. A prime roommate would be able to communicative about needs, issues, and general household goings on. I want this place to be as much as source of peace for you as it has been for me!

Hi I’m Robin and I’m looking to fill a space in the wonderful Summit House! This place is LGBT and neurodivergent friendly! I’ll just share a bit about me: I’m 27 and I’m really into music, video games, movies, books etc, really just physical media in general. I’ve lived here since I was 19 and I really love this house. I’m pretty chill and routine based, I work nearby at a paint store, and have been doing some courses at camosun .When at home I mostly chill in the living room doing my thing or outside in the greenhouse. My previous two roommates were roombodies which worked great for us, but I’m cool with people wanting to chill and chat etc. I would love a roommate who I can connect with and is willing to help maintain the balance and peace found in this house!
