So this is a bit different of a roomie post as this isn’t the property. What I want to do is find a roomie that has the ability to spend what I do, 2k-3k/mo and double up to get a much nicer place around the 7-8k mark ideally harbourfront. If this interests you and think we’d be good roomies then this roomie post is for you! :)

I don’t know how successful this will be but I’m kinda tired of living in shitty 2k condos and want to experience something a bit nicer. I’ll probably pay a bit more than you as I will get the master bedroom. Hopefully that’s ok with you. Obviously we would get a place we both want so I don’t think this will be a big deal but there is only one master bedroom so someone will have to pay more so the other doesn’t feel taken advantage of and just volunteering to do that here.

I am a techy so have lots of cool tech/electronics. Latest big screen TVs, tablets, computers, internet etc.. so if you have your own, sweet, if not, got you covered! Or at least that’s what I can bring to the table :)

I have a whole apartment set of furniture so I can also do couches etc but it’s furniture for a small apartment so I’d imagine both of ours would fit. I also have a storage locker though so if I need to store anything, that’s also an option for me.

I do have a car as well so would need parking for myself. I’m sure two parking spots is available at most places for extra $ though.

About the roomies

Just looking for 1 additional roomie to find a nicer and larger property to rent for a few years.

I am 40 single white male, born and raised Canadian. I am a senior IT worker and work from home so I tend to stay at home a lot. No pets. I like to smoke weed but don’t drink/no other drugs. Well I shouldn’t say I don’t drink, I do occasionally but it’s been a long time. Pretty chill. Most of friends live outside of Toronto quite a ways so very rare I have people over. And family lives far away too and doesn’t visit often. So very rarely would I have people over. I like cleanliness. Lots of details in the other box so make sure to read through that too.

Not a very good cook so I tend to buy a lot of like frozen meals and those meal kits or takeaway.

I’m a night owl but pretty quiet, not blaring music or anything at 1am. Well, maybe on the weekends the odd time haha.

I have a pretty good job, I think stable so hopefully won’t be laid off anytime soon lol. Hoping that you’re in a similar boat with stable long term income.

Am pretty open book so feel free to ask anything. The more questions/transparency the better I think.
