Looking for renter to fill a private bedroom in a 2-bedroom 1-bathroom 800 sq ft condo. Room will be furnished with a full-sized bed, a dresser, a night standand a desk. Room size is 12’ by 9’. Bed is missing from photos of room because bed is coming this Sunday.

This a low-rise condo building in the heart of Orléans featuring all new flooring, a bathroom that has been fully renovated within the past year, and brand new kicthen appliances.

Monthly rent: $870 (includes internet and all utilities except hydro) Half the monthly hydro bill typically falls between $55 - $65. One parking spot available for $60 monthly.

Within 13-minute walking distance you will find Place d’Orléans shopping centre, Farmboy, several doctor’s offices, pharmacies, Altitude gym, City of Ottawa Client Service Centre, Shenkman Arts Centre, and much more. The street is home to numerous festivals every year.

It’s less than a 2 minute walk to the nearest OC Transpo stop and about a 16 minute walk to the Place D’Orleans O-train station.

The TV in the living room is equipped with most streaming platforms (at no extra cost to you). Building has a shared laundry area which has just been renovated with all-new machines. Washers are $2.50 and dryers are $2.00. Unit is home to a very friendly, attention (and food) loving tabby cat.

Pets may be allowed on case by case basis but the condo board has a limit of one dog per unit and only allows dogs that are considered “small breed”. Small animals in renter’s room are allowed. A cat or a small dog may be allowed as long as they are spayed/neutered, non-destructive, and get along with the existing cat.

You would be one of two people living in this unit. I (Amy) would be your only roommate. I am a full-time working professional in my late 20s. I love to run and go to the gym. I’m almost always training for my next race. I enjoy crafts and boardgames. I adore animals and I have a cat with the personality of a dog. I’m currently focused on learning French.
