🌿 A Coliving Space to Build – Pointe-Saint-Charles (Starting July 1st)

Hi ✨ I’m looking for a roommate (ideally a woman or queer person, 25–40) to share an apartment — but more importantly, to build a real living space together.

🏡 The apartment Spacious apartment with:

• 3 bedrooms (one for you, one for me, and one flexible room: office / guest room)
• a living room
• a bright solarium ☀️
• a large south-facing backyard 🌿 📍 10-minute walk to Charlevoix Metro Station (Green line), steps from Marguerite Bourgeoys Park, and about 15 minutes from the Lachine Canal and Atwater Market 👉 Bedrooms are on opposite ends → real personal space 👉 All other spaces are shared The solarium will be a mixed space: workout area + chill zone (reading, coffee, hanging out). There’s also a small workshop area, so the place is great if you enjoy hands-on activities (sewing, DIY, crafting, etc.) 🛠️ The apartment will be mostly furnished.

🌿 The vibe I work mostly from home, so I need the space to stay calm on a daily basis. It’s a cozy, homey place:

• quiet during the week
• open to hosting or having people over from time to time I’m aiming for a “hybrid” roommate dynamic: → sharing moments when it feels natural → while still being independent in our own lives

💫 Who I’m looking for Someone who is:

• social but respectful of quiet time
• autonomous
• clean in everyday life (no need to be obsessive)
• comfortable with communication
• an animal lover And most importantly, someone who wants to build something meaningful, not just rent a room.

🚫 Not a good fit if:

• you’re often noisy or constantly hosting
• you don’t clean up after yourself
• you want a fully separate, no-interaction living situation
• you don’t respect the other person’s rhythm or needs

💸 Practical info

• Sublet (I’m on the lease)
• Duration: ideally minimum 1 year
• Rent: $1000 all included (Hydro, wifi, tenant insurance) Availability:
• keys June 15
• I move in around June 28
• move-in by July 1st at the latest

👋 About me I’m a UX designer and mostly work from home. I’m a 34-year-old French woman, living in Montreal for the past 3 years. I dance a lot, I’m creative, and I love working on projects, ideas, and building things. And as you can guess, I love animals (you can call me the Pet Fairy Lady 😄). I’m pretty calm at home, but always up for activities, working out, going out, or starting small projects. I value communication, respect, and trust a lot. I’d really love to create a place where we feel good, supported, and where the person I live with becomes an important part of my daily life ❤️

🐾 The animals I live with:

• 2 cats (Tono & Zola)
• 1 dog (Souky) They’re fairly independent but part of the daily life here. I’m looking for someone who genuinely likes animals and sees them as part of the home — and who can occasionally help out if I’m away. 🚫 No additional pets
