About the room

I have a bedroom available in the basement of my house in the Glenmore area of Kelowna. The property features a beautiful backyard with an in-ground pool, full outdoor washroom which you’ll have access to—just ask that you help contribute to pool chemicals and follow general pool rules. Theres also plenty of parking room.

You’ll be sharing the home with two people: myself (31-year-old female) and one other roommate (43-year-old male), who also lives downstairs. The bathroom downstairs is shared with him. The home has a shared kitchen upstairs, and there’s also a fridge and bar-style area in the basement for added convenience. Laundry is located in the basement. There’s a spacious basement living room that’s currently unused, so you’re welcome to make it your own. It includes a couch, and you can set it up however you like. Warning! It does have that ugly brown 70s carpet that lots of houses in Kelowna have. We all share responsibility for maintaining the home—this includes keeping common areas livable, tidying up after using the kitchen, helping with yard upkeep, and contributing to basic pool maintenance. But don’t worry we don’t expect perfect just contribution.

Rent: $1,000/month + shared utilities (split between the three of us)

Pets: The home is technically dog-friendly, but I already have two very friendly and loving pitbulls, so additional pets won’t be considered. Photos: More photos coming soon! I’m currently upgrading the available room and expect it to be ready by the end of the week. About You: I’m looking for someone who enjoys life and having fun, but still has their life in order. Must have a full-time job or be a full time student. Obviously somebody that loves dogs would be required. Disclaimer: I like loud music at reasonable hours of the day. Theres a good stereo in the house and I like to use it :)9)

About the roomies

Me: I’m a 31-year-old female and a full-time painter. I have two very friendly, loving pitbulls who are a big part of the home. I enjoy listening to music (sometimes on the louder side) and collect vinyl records, so hopefully that’s something you’re comfortable with. Roommate: 43-year-old male, super easygoing and a great conversationalist. He’s a chef and very tech-savvy. He tends to keep to himself and spends most of his time in his room, so the space downstairs is generally pretty quiet.
