Furnished room in a large 2-storey Monkland Village duplex. Great location, 5 min walk to Villa Maria metro, and very close to amenities such as grocery store, parks, bakeries, etc. Ideal for a busy student or professional. Includes double bed, dresser, small desk.

Monthly rent is $625 and includes wifi, hydro, heat. Full washer, dryer and dishwasher in the unit.

The other 3 housemates are 2 women and 1 man. We range in age from 20s to 40s. We are friendly but easy-going people so are looking for the same :)

Your room is on the ground floor, right across the hall from the other female housemate. The other 2 housemates are a couple, and our room is in the basement.

We have a 1-year-old dog, a black Lab named Elwood, who is relatively well-behaved but is crated when his owners aren’t home. No responsibility for looking after the dog is expected, but it is important that you feel comfortable with a dog in the house. Sorry, there is only one pet allowed in the lease, so we cannot accept other animals.

One of us is a music teacher, the front room doubles as my studio/office. This means that there are some restrictions on making additional noise in the house and on use of the front room during teaching hours.
