The unit has 1.5 bathrooms. The upstairs full bath is shared (one shower in the place), but the downstairs bathroom is yours to use for everything else, so there’s no morning queue.
Outside there’s a small-ish, fenced-in private yard with a big deck for hanging out, plus a ramp with access onto Cummings St, handy for moving in/out and a second way to come and go. Neighbours are friendly and not nosey.
The room comes with an installed window AC unit (the 8,000 BTU casement-slider style, since the windows are non-standard) so you’ll be set for summer. Shared kitchen (I cook a fair bit), but I rarely use the living or dining rooms so those are basically yours. Laundry on-site upstairs.
Walking distance to OC Transpo bus stops, about 10 minutes downtown by bus. FreshCo, Food Basics, restaurants, and everything you need are right on Montreal Rd. Quiet residential street.

It’s just me and my senior dog Kane (11). Kane is fearful and barks at new people for the first while. He takes a couple months to fully settle, then he’s chill once he knows you. A meet-and-greet with him is required before move-in, non-negotiable. I keep a muzzle on him in shared spaces for safety and peace of mind.
I’m a creative professional, work from home on a non-traditional schedule. My work involves a lot of socializing, so at home I mostly recharge and keep to myself. No drama, no parties. I stay up late on weekends and do quiet aerobics in my office.
