St. Clarens Avenue
About the room
This is a somewhat unusual living situation, but a really good one for the right person.
I’m looking for a calm, responsible single person (possibly a couple) who values a quiet, low-key home environment. The apartment is spacious, bright, and for much of this year you’ll effectively have it to yourself while I’m in Waterloo for school.
ABOUT THE PLACE
This is a 2nd + 3rd floor apartment in a house in Brockton Village.
Your private space includes: • A large front room with a big bay window and closet — great as a living room, studio, or workspace • A medium-sized bedroom that’s quiet and good for sleeping
Shared spaces (when I’m home): • Kitchen • Bathroom with tub • Front porch
The setup: • I have a separate bedroom on another floor • I split my time between Toronto and Waterloo for graduate school • You’ll likely have the apartment entirely to yourself about half the time this year • When I’m home, it’s a quiet and respectful shared space
$1600/month all inclusive: • Heat, hydro, A/C, WiFi included • Kitchenware available • Can be furnished if helpful
Location: • Near College & Dundas streetcars • Easy access to the Bloor subway line
Important: • I have two easy, friendly cats who come with me, so you should genuinely like cats • Non-smoker (cigarettes)
ABOUT YOU
You’re: • Quiet and self-aware • Clean and genuinely interested in keeping common areas uncluttered • Cat-friendly • Responsible and communicative
About the roomies
I’m a mature artist and teacher currently doing graduate studies in Waterloo. At home I’m quiet, respectful, and fairly self-contained. I work a lot and care about maintaining a calm, grounded atmosphere in the space.
