I’m looking for a roommate to join my bright and friendly home in Port Moody! The available room gets the most sunlight in the suite, with lots of natural light throughout the day, making it a great space to relax, work from home, or unwind after a long day.

The suite is a bright above-ground basement with large windows and plenty of natural light. We have a huge garden, a fully fenced backyard, and an outdoor shed for extra storage. There are also several storage areas inside the house, so you’ll have plenty of space for your belongings. The suite includes in-suite laundry, a dishwasher, and a newer fridge (only 2 years old). Street parking is easy, and there’s always a spot available right in front of or near the house.

One of the best parts of living here is the atmosphere. We have an excellent landlord who is responsive and easy to deal with, and the upstairs neighbours are quiet, friendly, and respectful. The neighbourhood is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and close to everything that makes Port Moody such a great place to live, including trails, parks, breweries, shops, and transit.

You’ll also be sharing the space with Habs, my adorable 10-year-old cat. He’s playful, cuddly, and incredibly loving—everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He has a quirky personality that provides plenty of entertainment, whether he’s zooming around the house or finding a new favourite spot to nap. Because he can get a little overstimulated around other animals, unfortunately we can’t accommodate any additional pets in the suite.

I’m hoping to find someone who is clean, considerate, cat-friendly, and a good fit for a relaxed and respectful shared living environment.

Ps. I’m always open to having people come over and friends spend the night.

A little about me: I’m a psychiatric nursing student during the school year, and on weekends I work at a local bar. I’d describe myself as funny, kind, easygoing, and respectful. I always clean up after myself (and after Habs!), and I really value having a comfortable, tidy home that everyone enjoys living in.

When I’m not studying or working, you’ll usually find me out in the garden, spending time with friends, watching movies, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I love to cook and am always happy to share a meal or some baking if I’ve made too much. Friends would describe me as supportive, friendly, and someone who’s easy to talk to. Communication is important to me, and I believe that being open, considerate, and respectful of each other’s space is what makes living with roommates work well.

I have a great group of friends from school, and occasionally my study group will come by to work on assignments. Around birthdays, holidays, or special occasions, I also enjoy hosting the occasional game night. They’re always low-key, fun gatherings, and I appreciate having a home where people can feel welcome while still respecting everyone’s need for downtime and personal space.
