This is a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment in Old Ottawa South with an amazing bay window in the living room to let in lots of sun, and a large dining room that’s great for having small dinner parties. I will be furnishing the shared areas (note the current photos show the previous tenants’ furniture), but your room comes unfurnished. The bedroom is a good size with a window overlooking the backyard and its own closet. The unit also has its own washer/dryer + dishwasher to keep things organized! This apartment also has a beautiful tree-canopied backyard with a BBQ available for use – a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffees + to host friends. I’ll be bringing a TV (w netflix) and coffee machine that you are welcome to use as well. The neighbourhood is a great compromise between quiet + walkable. 7 min walk to Carleton, 8 min walk to Bank St shops, 20 min walk to Landsdowne/Glebe, lots of bus routes nearby. Parking space at the back included in the rent, however utilities + internet are not (an added 150-200$/month for a total monthly rent of about ~1250/person).

Hi! My name is Haleh and I’m a 22-year-old incoming medical student at uOttawa. I will be moving in to this lovely place in phases starting on July 1st, and start classes on August 31. I’m originally from Toronto but have spent the last four years in Montreal. I’m a social person and appreciate having friends over and hanging out together. That said, I’ll be studying a lot, so I value a balanced lifestyle. Most of all, I’m looking for a clean and responsible roommate. A bit about me: I love all things vintage. In my free time I like to run and be outdoors. I would also be glad to trade book recommendations and try different cafes together! I’m very cat-friendly, if you have your own or are interested in fostering (I may be bringing my childhood cat). The community centre down the street from this apartment has pottery and yoga classes and I will definitely be taking advantage of those :)
