The apartment is on the 19th floor of 28 Ted Rogers Way. It’s a spacious 734 square feet with a sunny combined kitchen-living room with east and south facing windows(it’s a corner unit), and a small balcony. The common area is fully furnished, though the bedroom you would be renting is not. The available bedroom has east facing windows and decent closet space. The room is 8’9” x 9’. There is one shared bathroom in the unit with a combined shower and bath. The apartment has an ensuite washer and dryer. There is AC and heating, with two separate thermostats for the two bedrooms. The apartment comes with a parking space that you are free to utilize (I don’t drive), and has a gym on premises, access to a pool, as well as freely reservable theater and party rooms. Rent is 1,500 CAD a month, which includes most utilities, but not electricity and internet, which bring it up to ~1,600 CAD a month.

Within a 5 minute walking distance is a No Frills, a H Mart, two different TTC stations, and various restaurants. There is a Rabba’s Fine Foods about 30 seconds walk from the building, which is incredibly useful for grabbing necessities during bad weather. If you are a UofT student like myself, it’s about a 20-25 minute walk from front campus, which is a nice bit of exercise in the morning, or if you are running late you can get there in 10-15 minutes via Bloor-Yonge Station.

Move in Date: Room is available August 1st with a potential for move in earlier. Lease will need to be co-signed as of August 1st. Rent: 1500 CAD (includes some utilities)

There is only one other person in the apartment, which is myself. My name is Alynstra, I’m a junior at UofT studying biology and genetics. I’m a very friendly and laid back person. I enjoy conversation about a wide variety of topics: I like art, video and tabletop games, sociology, writing and worldbuilding, and hearing about other people’s lives and interests. I like to cook for myself and would love a roommate I could make dinners with.
