Bright, private furnished bedroom on the second floor with ensuite bathroom. Large closet. Includes double bed, bedside table, desk, and dresser. Located in the Parkridge area of north Oshawa (Taunton & Townline). Walmart, grocery stores, rec centre, etc. within walking distance. 10 min drive to Durham College and Ontario Tech University. About the home: Whole home water is softened and filtered, so no toxic chlorine smells :) The home features a back deck overlooking the yard and flower gardens. Smoke-free home. No drugs, low alcohol. Single occupancy. No overnight guests, please. Due to multiple chemical sensitivities, this is a scent-free home (no scented candles, plug-ins, incense, air fresheners, or strong fragrances). I have been ok so far with essential oil diffusing. Laundry not available due to above mentioned chemical sensitivities, unless specific products are used.

First and last month’s, proof of income or school enrollment required. Government ID requested prior to agreement. References preferred.

I’m a kindergarten teacher looking to share my quiet, comfortable home with the right roommate. I enjoy a calm, respectful household where open communication and consideration for one another are important.

I share my home with a few friendly dogs and cats, so animal lovers are especially welcome and can expect plenty of furry companionship. When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing at home, spending time outdoors, and occasionally sharing a tea, conversation, or movie night with good company.

I’m hoping to find someone who is responsible, easygoing, and appreciates a peaceful living environment. While everyone values their own space, it would be nice to live with someone who is friendly and enjoys the occasional chat rather than feeling like strangers sharing a house. I’m primarily looking for a compatible housemate rather than maximizing rental income, so there may be some flexibility in the monthly contribution depending on the arrangement.
