About the room

The suite is pretty comfortable. It has a more classic, lived-in feel rather than that brand-new condo look, which some people actually prefer. It feels like a proper home instead of a show unit. It’s not ultra modern unless the specific unit has been renovated. Some suites still have that slightly dated look with older cabinets or finishes, but they’re clean and functional. The upside is you get way more space for your money than you would in a newer glass tower.

And the building itself adds a lot to it. You’ve got things like an indoor pool, sauna, and access to the Assiniboine Athletic Club right in the complex, and residents usually get a discount there. There’s also underground parking, in-suite laundry, and little conveniences built into the complex, so it feels pretty self-contained.

Location-wise, it’s actually one of the better spots downtown. You’re right by The Forks, like literally across the way, and right near the Fort Garry Hotel. So it’s not deep in the sketchy parts people usually think about when they hear downtown Winnipeg. There’s more activity around, better foot traffic, and generally a stronger sense of security compared to other areas.

About the roomies

I’m a 21 year old male student studying at the UofM. I’m looking for someone to take the second room, other occupant is relocating due to work. I’m easy going, respectful, open minded to my flaws and expect basic human decency.
