Looking for a female roommate longterm for October 1st! (Could start as early as September 1st) No pets! No smokers!

I am giving up my room in a beautiful two-bedroom apartment! The room is available as early as September 1st, but there is some flexibility on the start date leading up to our lease renewal on October 1st. The room is large and very bright. The apartment is on the 11th floor, and has large bright windows and a terrace with a beautiful view of the mountain!

The entire apartment is fully furnished except the room you will be taking so no need to worry about buying and moving large furniture! Also, I am selling most of the furniture in my room which is another extra perk for an easy move-in! (you can discuss it more with me after).

The location is between Atwater and Guy-Concordia metro (a 4-minute walk from each one) and a 10-minute walk from Concordia University. There are grocery stores and public transportation within walking distance! The building also has a gym and a laundry room downstairs.

You could be taking the room as early as September 1st but the lease ends September 31st and will be renewed then for a year. The rent for the entire apartment will be 2,158$/month as of October with heating and electricity included. Starting then, you will be paying 1,230$/month for the room as it is significantly bigger than my roommate’s room. However, if you end up taking the room September 1st, with total rent currently being 2,137$/month you will be paying 1,218$/month for September. Internet and insurance are not included and would be $50.09/month per person ($34.49 for home internet + $15.6 for renter’s insurance per person).

The roommate you will be staying with is a 27-year-old Mexican, female, full-time worker. She works in sales. She studied art and loves to paint and draw! She’s easygoing, friendly, loves plants and cares about maintaining a harmonious and clean living space. She also loves roommate dinners/movie nights, loves to have deep philosophical talks, and is always open to other roommate activity suggestions! She likes to gym as well and play tennis.
