We are two professionals with a cat and a (human) toddler living upstairs. One of us works full time from the office, and one of us is hybrid. We do require relative quiet, as our toddler goes to bed at 7:30 and naps in the middle of the day here when she’s not in daycare, but the basement is pretty sound proof so it’s never been an issue.
