Your Results Stay on our Secure Platform

Scammers routinely send fake "screening" links designed to harvest your personal information or payment details. If someone asks you to verify yourself through an external, unknown website, requests highly sensitive personal information, or to perform a soft credit check with an unfamiliar link, it's almost certainly a risk. On Roomies, every check is initiated from within the platform and information is sent to our partner via a secure server.

Your Information is Kept Safe

Once completed, your credit check, ID verification, and background check are saved to your Roomies profile. You choose who sees them and when to share, at your discretion. Checks can also be assigned directly from a landlord to a tenant, making the process seamless for both sides without anyone having to hand over sensitive documents in person or online.
