Hello! It is not easy to write about why I would make a great housemate however I can tell you a bit about myself and why I am looking for a shared home.

I am a fifty seven year old self-employed accounting professional who leads a quiet life and embraces a healthy lifestyle - good food, good relationships with a healthy dose of exercise.

If you are looking for a quiet roommate with good boundaries, we should get together for a chat. To be clear I love to listen to music though it does not have to be at a volume that would wake the neighbourhood and would be restricted to mutually agreed hours.

Among the many reasons I have resumed my search for a roommate/roommates is that I have found that i have become too comfortable and have got a bit isolated living on my own.

Update: I moved into a low rise in the Fernwood area in the middle of December 2024. The building is pleasant enough and the apartment is bright and large. My reasons have not changed except for the financial one. It is now a decidedly secondary or tertiary consideration. My goal is to find a roommate or roommates who would be open to discussing the possibility of and moving ahead with renting a house (preferably in the Fernwood area) but I am also open to moving into an existing home.
