Hello! I am looking for accommodation near Carleton University for my sister.

My sister, Bola, is starting her graduate studies at Carleton University this Fall, and she is an international student from Nigeria. She is looking for a private room in a shared accommodation (preferably living with only 1-3 roommates). Looking for a 8-12 months lease or month-to-month agreement that starts September 1st, 2026

Our budget is between $700 and $900 for rent, with as many inclusions. Willing to split hydro and internet if needed. The room can be furnished or unfurnished.

A bit about Bola. She is a 26-year-old young professional, starting her master’s degree in Finance this fall. She is very respectful, clean, and quiet. Bola is very big on clear communication and expectations. She does not smoke or use drugs, and would prefer the same for a roommate.

She is unable to provide a landlord reference because she does not have a rental history in Canada. I am willing to act as a guarantor on her application if necessary.
