Hi, I’m Anna! aI’ll be starting my MSc in biology at UofG this fall. I’m looking for an apartment with one roommate or one person to team up with to find a place for the coming academic year (starting August or September).
Overall, I’m friendly, respectful and keep my space tidy. I enjoy crocheting, reading, baking, spending time in nature (especially birding), and growing houseplants. I appreciate spending time with others and would a love roommate I can chat with, but I’m more of an introvert than an extrovert so I value time to myself as well. As a grad student, I also need my home to be a calm enough place that I can focus on my work. That said, I do like to have friends over from time to time. I don’t have pets currently, but would love to live with yours and may be getting a cat myself in the future. An LGBTQ+ friendly space/roommate is a must for me! My apartment wish-list would be: a dishwasher, plenty of natural light (not a basement), a yard or large balcony, pet-friendly, and with in-building laundry. And my preference is for housing located in the Old University, Old City, or Two Rivers/St. Patrick’s Ward neighbourhoods.
