I’m looking for a roommate to share an apartment in Vancouver or the surrounding area, and am open to either someone who already has a place or someone who’s interested in finding a new place together. I’d also be willing to chat about the possibility of joining/teaming up with 2 other people for a larger space, but not a couple.

I’m a friendly but introverted 35yo working in admin 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday, so if you work from home during the day you’d have the place to yourself for that. LGBTQIA2S+ friendly, animal lover, non-smoker, non-partier but comfortable with alcohol and cannabis use in my living space.

I like being able to have friendly conversations and the occasional shared meal or tv/movie night, etc., but I also value and respect personal space and downtime. Open and considerate communication is important to me to ensure everything stays copacetic and everyone feels comfortable and respected.

Maintaining a clean living space is key as well, and I’m conscientious about tidying up after myself and keeping my clutter out of shared spaces. I’m looking for a roommate who’s on the same page and willing to invest equal time/effort into household chores.

I have two cats who are social lovebugs. They were fostered with other cats and a dog before coming to me, and could probably coexist well with other animals with proper introduction. I’ve had a variety of pets all my life and used to work as a veterinary assistant, so I’m a very responsible pet owner.

In my free time I enjoy watching way too much tv, hanging out with friends, reading, hiking, live music and comedy, being a long-suffering Canucks fan, D&D, and exploring new places and things to do. I also need my downtime, so I do spend a fair amount of time at home relaxing and recharging.
