I’m 47 and recently moved back to BC. I’m originally from Vancouver and was living in Alberta before returning. I’m currently living in North Vancouver, but I’m looking to find a townhouse to rent, ideally in the Abbotsford area, although I’m open to other areas for the right place.

One of the main things I’m looking for is a townhouse with a garage. My plan is to take the master bedroom and use the garage, while making the other bedroom—or potentially two bedrooms—available to a roommate. The roommate would have use of the rest of the shared living space in the home.

I work as a contractor in handyman services and am also planning to attend school part-time. I’m clean, respectful, responsible, and like keeping a comfortable and tidy home. I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, and being social, but I also value my own space and completely respect other people’s privacy and downtime.

I’m open to renting an unfurnished townhouse and helping furnish it. I already have some nice things that can be used for the home, so there’s no need for the place or bedrooms to already be furnished.

Ideally, I’d like to find someone responsible, clean, easygoing, and respectful who is interested in sharing a nice townhouse rather than simply renting a room. I’d like the home to feel comfortable for both of us, and it would be great to have a friendly relationship with the person I’m living with while still respecting each other’s independence and privacy.
