Hi everyone! My name is Alex and I moved to Collingwood in November to work for the winter season (ie until March/April) while I am waiting for recruitment with the Armed Forces to pick up again after the winter break.

I currently work as both a Prep Cook at the recently opened Bocado and as a Line Cook at Northwinds Brewhouse in the Blue Mountain Village.

I have been renting a room in a house in town; however, recently the landlord has discovered severe structural isssues with the house that had not been disclosed by the seller and the house has been deemed unsafe to live in and will undergo heavy repair works. I am therefore finding myself without a place to stay at the last minute.

I spend most of my time working. I do not smoke and I am pretty much looking for a place to sleep at this point. I have shared a living space many times in the past and in different places and believe in everyone cleaning after themselves and making the house a comfortable environment.

Since I drive I am looking for housing that includes parking as well.

I am looking to move in as soon as possible, ie from Monday January 5th onwards.
