I’m looking for a private room to rent and am open to room rentals in shared houses, rooming houses, shared apartments/condos, or teaming up with compatible roommates to find a place together.

My budget is up to $850/month all-inclusive.

I’m easy-going, respectful, clean, and generally quiet. I spend a lot of time out of the house, especially at the gym, visiting family, or out with friends. I’m looking for a comfortable, low-drama living situation with people who are considerate and respectful of shared spaces.

I don’t need parking, but I would appreciate a safe place to store a bicycle in the summer.

Preferred arrangement:

6-month room rental or shared accommodation agreement preferred

Month-to-month or flexible arrangement afterward would be ideal

First and last month’s rent is fine

Open to longer-term if it’s a good fit

Preferred locations:

Along the Yonge TTC subway line

Along the Vaughan / University TTC subway line

From downtown Toronto north into York Region

Ideally within about a 5-minute walk of a subway station

Close to a weight-training gym, fitness centre, or community centre

Looking for:

Private bedroom, single occupancy

Above-ground bedroom with a window

Shared kitchen access

Laundry on-site

Utilities included

Internet not required

No parking required

Male or female roommates are both fine

Separate entrance is a bonus

I smoke occasionally, but always outside.

My children are an important part of my life, but I visit them elsewhere and do not host them at the residence.
