I appreciate coming home to a warm, peaceful, and relatively clean place to unwind, ideally with roomies who are down to chat a bit or grab a coffee/meal outside every so often. I value roommates who have solid communication skills and are open to working things out when something doesn’t feel right. I’ve gotten so lucky with my current roommates and they’ve become good friends, so ~if it feels natural~ I’d love to be in a social home (that doesn’t always bring the party back home). And of course, roommates who enjoy the company of a sweet cat is a huge bonus.
