Hey! I’m Moritz, a 21-year-old exchange student from Germany. I’m studying Medical Information Technologies at KPU in Surrey. I’m an active person — currently training for a half marathon. I used to race road bikes semi-professionally, and I still play and coach ice hockey back home. Since arriving in May, I’ve really gotten into hiking here in Vancouver. But as a German, I definitely also enjoy having a couple of drinks — beer preferred, of course. 😄
I’d describe myself as open, polite, and easygoing. I value good communication and shared living, but I also respect personal space — I live in a flatshare with friends back in Germany, so I’m used to balancing both.
Right now, I’m staying in a homestay in Hastings-Sunrise, but I’m looking to move (closer) to downtown from July 1st. I know a 3-month stay isn’t ideal for everyone, but I’m happy to help find a new tenant after September to make things easier for you.
