Sagarika

Hi, I’m Rika. I’m moving to Vancouver from Calgary at the end of September to start a new job in tech. My office is near Great Northern Way and I start on 28 September.

What I’m looking for: a furnished room, month to month to begin with, and happy to extend if it’s a good fit. I’d rather not commit to a year in a city I haven’t lived in yet.

Areas: Commercial Drive and Grandview-Woodland, Renfrew, Mount Pleasant, and East Vancouver generally. Anything on the Millennium Line works for my commute.

About me: non-smoker, no pets, tidy, and I keep a regular schedule, up early and in bed at a reasonable hour. I train taekwondo a couple of evenings a week. I’m not looking for a party house, and if something needs sorting out I’d rather have the conversation than let it build.

One thing to be upfront about: my role is hybrid, so I work from home most of the week. I stay in my room during work hours and take calls with the door closed, and I’m in the office on office weeks. Happy to talk through how that would work in your place.

I can provide an employment letter and references. I’m in Calgary until the 26th, so I’d be glad to do a video viewing in the meantime.
