I am a transfeminine, non-smoking/drinking/drugging, returning UVIC student, seeking a cat friendly home. I have an Egyptian Mau Siamese cross who’s formal title is “The Bella Monster.”

I’m aiming for a MA in psychology to become a counselor after completing a general BA in psychology and gender studies with a music minor, so I will be here for several more years.

My budget up to $1,200/month (around $1000 is much better), and I have several references spanning the last eight years I have been renting in British Columbia.

I’m a very considerate, mostly quiet roommate, value open honest communication, and like to keep shared spaces tidy—I say “mostly quiet” as I play woodwinds. Although I seldom play lately, it is important for me to be able to; just a little every day would be great for my soul if I could get into the routine! Possessing half a music degree I have taught saxophone, flute, and clarinet lessons in the past; the instruments I am mostly likely to pick up these days are the flute or clarinet. I tend to use headphones for all media. I thought I was returning to Victoria, and UVIC (in 2022), to finish the aforementioned music degree (in education), but gender studies reared it’s head, and I opted to explore academia proper.
