Hi! My name’s Shannon!

I’m 24 years old and a young professional, I currently live and work in Vanier but I’m looking to move to the Centertown, The Glebe or Old Ottawa South area.

I currently live alone and am happy where I am but I have a friends that live in the centretown area, and I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of what Ottawa has to offer by being away from the core.

Because I’m content with where I’m at, I’m not in a rush to move, really I’m looking for the right match with a housemate and a great place where we are saving some money.

I’m currently paying 1500$+ on rent and utilities, so I ideally I would like to spend less than that.

A few important things about me is that:

• I do have a dog, he’s an almost 9 year old black lab. He is very well behaved and quiet. I often get people telling me “he’s the chillest dog I’ve ever met!”, I tend compare him to a cat in dog form. He’s crate trained, and is kenneled when I am not around, but I know that’s a big deal breaker for a lot of people.

• I also have a car so I’ll need a place with a parking spot (street parking is okay).

• I enjoy walking my dog, spending time outside, reader, crafts and I’ve been getting into yoga recently.

• And lastly, I unfortunately also have a cat allergy :(

Now for a little more about what I’m like! I’m respectful, quiet and clean (I always try to keep common spaces tidy but my room can get a little messy). I love to hangout with my roommates chatting after work or while cooking, having a cup of tea or a girl’s night anytime but also equally enough my solo down time. I’m looking for someone who we can live together in harmony but also be more friendly than just co-existing.

I’ve had lots of experience living with roommates and I enjoy the camaraderie of sharing a home with similar like minded people.
