Hi there! I’m a responsible and respectful tenant looking for a place to stay in Canmore while I complete my practicum for my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. I’ll be completing my practicum with Focused Counselling Solutions starting in September and am seeking a quiet, comfortable home base during the days I’m in town for placement.

A bit about me: I currently live in Edmonton, where I own my own home. My boyfriend also owns two homes there, and I’ll be keeping most of my belongings at his place while I’m in Canmore. I’m looking for a furnished or semi-furnished place where I can live light and focus on my work and studies.

For the past three and a half years, I’ve worked at Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch, a trauma-informed treatment centre for children who have experienced sexual abuse. I’m passionate about mental health, healing, and providing safe spaces for others. I’m quiet, tidy, and conscientious of shared spaces and schedules. I don’t smoke or party and I’ll mostly be using the rental during the week or days that align with my practicum shifts to reduce the long commute from Edmonton.

My partner works up north as a heavy equipment operator for Imperial Oil on a rotational schedule, so it’s just me during practicum weeks. I’m looking forward to finding a calm and reliable spot to support this next step in my journey to becoming a psychologist.
