I’m an incoming PhD student in Mathematics at UBC. I’m a 24-year-old male from Croatia, and I just finished my master’s in Electrical Engineering in Belgium. I play guitar and write music (I actually almost became a composer as I was torn between majoring in Electrical Engineering and Music). I enjoy running and going on long walks, and I occasionally play beach volleyball.
I’m a social and extroverted person. My favorite way to connect is over a cup of coffee. Back home, we have a strong coffee culture, so I always offer a cup when I make one for myself. Since I’m moving across the globe, I’m hoping to find a place I can call home, and not just a place to stay at. An important aspect of that is the people I live with.
