Hey, I’m Tekle, a 21-year-old mechanical engineer about to start at an aerospace startup here in Edmonton. I’m looking for a single room in a relaxed, social house, ideally a bigger two-storey place that’s run by the people actually living in it rather than managed from a distance by a landlord. My budget is under $800 a month. I’m tidy, respectful, and happy to pull my weight with chores and keep the common areas nice. What I’m really hoping to find is a house full of students and young adults around my age who are chill, friendly, and up for actually becoming friends. Game nights, hanging out in a communal basement, that sort of vibe. A place that’s cool with the occasional guest would be great too, and bonus points if pets are allowed since I’d love to get one down the road. Outside of work I’m into engineering and space stuff, gaming, and getting out on the trails. I’m pretty easygoing and low-drama, equally happy to chat over a coffee or just do my own thing.
