I am a software engineer for a startup based in the US and I work remotely. My bosses are ok with me living outside of the US, so I am trying to take advantage of that while I can. I just got back to the US from a 3 month stay in Vienna. I am hoping to spend ~3 months in Vancouver. I lived alone in Vienna, but I wish I had roommates. While I was in college, I always had roommates (some I knew before hand, but most I met once I moved in) and I realized that I want to have some good roommates that hopefully will become friends. I make sure that all common areas are clean after I use them and I make sure to do chores for the house. I understand that people are busy too and I don’t mind if dishes are let in the sink or if common areas are a bit messy. I do not mind sharing bathrooms/kitchens/common areas with multiple people and will always be respectful of the people I am sharing them with :)
