I am looking for a place convenient (by transit, walk, or bike) to work near Parliament Hill for my in-office days as my family home is too far for daily commuting even on my hybrid schedule. I would only be there 3 or maybe 4 nights, mostly midweek. I am a non-smoker, active, well-educated, tidy, and friendly person who goes to bed early and gets up early. I love nature and volunteering with community organizations. I speak English and French. I am not interested in a place that is smoking or cannabis friendly. I like kids and pets, but prefer them not in my room. I would need a parking space, preferably off-street, when I am there, as well as a spot for a not at all fancy bicycle. Ideal situation for me might be with one or two other people or a single parent with kid(s). My family at home includes a young teen girl, dogs, chickens, and random local wildlife, and a spouse. None of them would be with me in Ottawa. I love sailing and baking, but not baking while sailing!
