Hello! My name is Chris. I’m moving to Montreal in September from Spain and looking for a room from September 1st til December 31st (but I am flexible on the start and end dates). I’m 26 years old and originally from the US, but I’ve been living in Barcelona for 3 years, studying and working. I speak English, Spanish, Catalan, and I’ve started to learn French since deciding to move to Montreal (I’m about A2 currently). I’m currently working from home as a web designer for a university in the US, so I will be working from home in Monreal as well (though I often try to find a library or cafe to avoid cabin fever!). Outside of work, I am a musician (saxophone/sound designer/DJ), a fantastic home cook, an even better home barista, a lover of the outdoors, and genre-crossing, boundary-pushing art. I am very kind, easygoing, and respectful of others and their needs. While I tend to be very tidy, I’m more than happy to adapt to your ideas of cleanliness and shared responsibilities. While I would love to have a roommate who wants to share an occasional meal, play a game, or chat, I also will take some time and space to be alone. Ideally I would like to live in Mile-end, mile ex, plateau, villeray, little italy, outremont, but I’m open to any location as long as it’s not too far from a metro stop.
