My name is Martin Zborowski, I’m 26 years old and will be spending the upcoming semester as an exchange student at UdeM. I’m originally from Austria and currently doing my master’s in Robotics and Medical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. I’ll arrive in Montreal at the end of August and I’m looking for a room until the end of December – ideally in a shared flat with friendly people around the Plateau Mont-Royal. I’ve heard that this area is great for students and has a strong francophone vibe, which would be perfect for me since I’d really like to improve my French during my stay. A bit about me: I’d describe myself as a laid-back and open-minded person who enjoys hanging out with friends, exploring the city, and grabbing a drink now and then. In my free time I love all kinds of sports, especially snowboarding, jogging and hiking – so I’m also excited to discover Canada’s amazing nature. During my bachelor’s I already spent a semester abroad in Washington DC, so I know what it’s like to adapt to a new city and new people. And after several years of living in shared flats, I really value keeping the place clean and creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere at home. I’d be happy to share more about myself and I’m really looking forward to hopefully spending a great time together in Montreal!
