Hey there, I’m Matt, 27, an easygoing, creative guy who’s looking for a calm and comfortable place to call home in the Durham or Markham area.

I’m quiet and respectful, not the partying type, and really value kindness and open communication. I’m introverted at first but once I get to know someone, I’m easy to talk to and enjoy good company in a relaxed setting.

Art and painting have always been my outlet, I find it peaceful and grounding. I also like watching movies, listening to music, working out, and getting outdoors when I can. I play a bit of video games too, mostly as a way to unwind.

I have a stutter, so sometimes it takes me a little longer to get my words out, but I’ve learned to accept it and appreciate people who are patient and understanding. I live a pretty low-key life and like to keep my space clean and organized.

I used to work as a residential painter, so I’m fairly handy around the house, and I’m currently on disability while focusing on my health and building toward working again. I’m moving back to be closer to family and hoping to find a roommate who values peace, honesty, and a good sense of humour. Someone who appreciates a quiet home and maybe enjoys their own creative or unique hobbies too.
