Hiya, I’m Connor, 22 years old, from the UK.

I have been living in Vancouver for three months in Gastown, and I am working as a server and bartender in the area.

During the day I am usually working on university-related projects. I recently graduated from Cambridge University in the UK, and I am preparing a publication and a new machine learning project for my PhD proposal. On sunny days I also love getting out for a hike or exploring the city.

Because I work mostly evenings and weekends, and I also play Water Polo, I am usually out most nights. Living with someone who works a more typical 9 to 5 tends to be a great fit because we naturally get lots of personal space. I have also lived with remote workers and I am completely comfortable sharing daytime space.

I am friendly and sociable, but I am also respectful of routines and downtime. I keep shared spaces clean, communicate openly, and I am easygoing about noise and schedules as long as everyone is considerate. I am looking for a home that feels relaxed, tidy, and comfortable. Nothing fancy, just a good vibe and mutual respect.

I am flexible about where I live. The most important thing for me is being able to get home safely after late shifts in Gastown. As long as there is a reliable NightBus route or it is walkable, I am happy.
