Hi! My name is Joseph :)

A bit about me:

Overall, I am very, very quiet. The only exceptions to that are:

1. when I sing and play guitar which (a) happens infrequently, (b) only happens during the evenings and afternoons, (c) I do softly and considerately of others, and (d) I guess it helps that I’m a capable and experienced musician, so it’s generally pleasant even if it is occasionally loud enough for anyone else to hear, and
2. when I run a small blender for ~20 seconds to make a smoothie.

Beyond that, I am almost completely silent at virtually all times.

My general hygiene and cleanliness are decent. I keep my hands and myself clean. I almost never let more than a days worth of my dishes accumulate before washing, drying, and putting them away. I clean up after myself as I go during and after meal preps, and I ensure the bathroom is at least as clean after I finish using it as it was before.

I am easy-going, respectful, and considerate of others. If there is a problem, some confusion or potential misunderstanding, I am easy to talk to provided I am given the benefit of a doubt. When I have concerns, I talk them out calmly and patiently with the people it involves. I avoid drama while seeing to my peace. I am emotionally well grounded and easy enough to get along with.

My downsides are that I have IBS and so sometimes need to occupy a washroom more frequently and for longer than most folks, but otherwise, I stay out of other peoples’ way. Hell, even in this case, if it turned out to be a potential friction point, talk to me about it and we can work something out.

My income is predominantly through ODSP and thus stable. My physical and mental health issues are managed and invisible to most. My lifestyle is that of a homebody. I mostly just hang out in my room, but I can be social and inviting too.

I can provide a hefty list of people I have been roommates with or have rented from in the past who can vouch for me.

I’m looking for a private room in a safe house or apartment that is a good fit for me. I do not have a vehicle or pets.
