Evan Knott

Hi, my name is Evan, and I’m a PhD student at the University of Guelph, supervised by Samantha Brennan. I’m also teaching the new Sport Philosophy course. I’m currently in London but ready to settle in Guelph for the duration of my studies, specifically looking in the south end (as suggested by my department admin). I do have a car, so I’m looking around KW too.

The Dogs: The main thing to note is I come with two small, hypoallergenic Doodles. They are well-behaved, do not shed, and are trained to stay off the furniture. They are active, going to the dog park daily, and are bathed regularly, so they’re very clean and good-natured. I am specifically looking for housemates who genuinely love or are comfortable around dogs. They bring a lot of calm and joy to a home environment.

About Me: I’m generally supportive, respectful of space, and focus heavily on my studies and teaching (I spend a lot of time on Teams/at my campus office). I’ve lived with diverse groups in the past and am open-minded, though I seek a good fit. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle: I regularly do yoga (like at Oxygen Yoga) and weight-lifting. I don’t drink or smoke. While student life is busy and involves some late nights, I am committed to keeping a tidy and respectful home.

Stuff: I have some nice furniture, including a big-screen TV, but am prepared to store it unless it’s useful for the common area. I also have a spare luxury king size mattress that’s been covered and it’s hardly been used. So, if we happen to team up on two bedroom apartment, I can bring all the needed furniture.

Team up: I’m open to working together in a 2-bedroom in Guelph or KW. I’m also looking at dog friendly homes too.
