we are a middle aged couple who are simpletons who are friendly and very easy to get along with My husband and I are self employed and my husband collects disability as a fallback stable income, his injury being from a motorcycle accident a few years back that resulted in reconstructive surgery on his left foot. We run our own Property Management & Maintenance business, which we have downsized to just us as employees for the last few years, after shutting down our other offices in Montreal and Toronto (mid-covid). My husband specializes in electrical and plumbing, but we have and are capable of building and/or maintaining a house, top to bottom. I’m a Business Development and Administrative Management specialist and handle all of the correspondence and communication, as well as working the labour and trades work along side my husband. We are homebodies, we don’t have, or want, much of a social circle or life as we are happy on our own doing our own thing. My husband is on “the spectrum” (autism), ever so mildly, resulting in his genius level IQ and inability to initiate social relationships, and as we have been best friends for nearly 20 years, married for 5, and we are both a little odd, we are more than comfortable and happy with just having each other. We are quiet, clean and always happy to help whenever and where ever we can, and we are always expanding our knowledge and skill base by self educating and listening to others’ experiences and ideas. We have an extremely wide range of skills, abilities, and knowledge and are always on the go, as we build, repair and modify custom electronics and I am extremely artistic and crafty with the ability to tattoo, complete seamstress/tailor work, custom jewellery and crochet as well as engraving and more. We are fun, easy-going and always keep positive.
