I was born and raised in Switzerland, partly in a large Lebanese family. At the age of 20, I served in eight wars and various internal conflicts around the world for France and became a French citizen in addition to my Swiss citizenship. I spent 15 years traveling, open-minded and uncomplicated, and even during the Covid period, I took over 36 long-haul flights, with more cabin crew than passengers on the planes due to Covid. I lived in Mexico for seven years and also obtained permanent residency. To continue exploring the world, Canada was the idea. Perhaps I had flown too much and was tired of flying, so I decided to walk to Canada. For fun and as a challenge, I walked from Mexico to Canada. This took me through the states of California, Oregon, and Washington until I reached BC Canada. Since I still like it here, especially in the Okanagan Valley, I have now been in Kelowna for 2 years, working as a carpenter and framer.
