Hey Geoff,

Hope you’re doing well! My name is Sami, and I’m really interested in your place. I work full-time for Webber as a foreman, and my job is literally on Fernbank Road — about one minute away from the house, so the location couldn’t be more perfect.

A bit about me: I hold a master’s degree in architecture and project management, have a clean record, a good credit score, and I’m currently living on Neil Avenue between Carp and Hazeldean. My lease is up next week, and my roommates decided to move to a bigger place in Gatineau, which really isn’t for me. I’m a single, extremely clean guy looking for a quiet, peaceful place to settle into long-term.

I’m the kind of person who always keeps things spotless — any dust feels like an eyesore to me, so I’m constantly cleaning. I also used to run a construction company for three years, so I’m very handy and actually enjoy fixing things, even small stuff that isn’t technically mine. I’m very open-minded, not religious, and I don’t have people over for overnight stays. I vape and drink occasionally but don’t smoke or use anything else.

During the winter I drive a plow truck, so I can easily keep the driveway clean and salted. In the summer, I supervise a landscaping crew, and they often help me keep the property neat if needed. I have all the furniture I need and I’m usually a very sharing, helpful person. I really enjoy peaceful nights and a calm environment, and I love a good backyard BBQ from time to time.

In the summer, I’m all about being outdoors — I love kayaking, boating, and spending time at the beach. I really enjoy celebrating all kinds of holidays, whether they’re meaningful or just fun excuses to get people together. I’m also someone who loves deep conversations just as much as funny, light-hearted ones. It’s important for me to live somewhere that feels positive and warm, where I can relax and enjoy life.
