Looking to relocate to Halliburton area. Ideally a 3 to 6 month commitment (month-to-month is also ok). Can be out in the country or central. I will keep my other residence until I am sure that I want to make a permanent move. I am very quiet & respectful. Non-smoker & if I have 2 drinks in a month it means there’s been a special occasion. I love hiking, walking, photography, nature/camping/canoeing. interior design, learning (podcasts, audiobooks & Youtube “university”) love pickleball, swimming, euchre & other games & of course, travel. I value my privacy when in my own space & would respect my roommate’s right to privacy as well. I’m allergic to cats & love dogs but don’t love the idea of living in a home with a “shedder” as I suspect I may have an allergy to them as well. Truth be told, I prefer a clean living environment & the idea of having to continually sweep/mop up dog hair is a no-go for me. Must be a non-smoking house (both residents & any guests). I am a Christian but not religious more privately spiritual. I respect everyone’s choice to choose their own path of beliefs & always am curious to learn. We don’t need to be “besties” but being friendly makes for a more comfortable household. Ideally a granny suite or room with ensuite would be ideal but open to trying shared bathroom in the right scenario. I’d prefer to live in a home with one or two adults (I’ve already lived the busy chaotic family life & now looking for a more serene atmosphere) so possibly a retired female or couple (sorry, not open to living with a solo male). Stairs are fine as I am healthy & improving my fitness every day. I would need 1 parking spot in a private driveway or private parking lot to be included (no street/public parking for insurance purposes). I do like to make homemade soups/stews from time-to-time but mostly prefer Good Food/Factor meal service which I don’t mind bringing a mini fridge to keep those housed in my room. I prefer a household that does not have strong lingering cooking smells on a regular basis whether it’s bacon or curry. Hopefully this long-winded description gives you a good sense of who I am & what I am looking for in a room/roommate. Thanks for taking the time to read.
