Darren

Hello!

My name is Darren, and I am currently a computer engineering student at Toronto Metropolitan University. I’m currently trying to find a roommate to live with in downtown since I’ll be there during the school year.

I’m not the biggest party person, but I don’t mind living with another person as long as I have my own private place to be alone sometimes. I spend a lot of time studying and doing club activities at TMU. Some clubs I’m in are Dragon boating, Engplay, and I’m going to join the Indonesian student society.

I enjoy keeping a clean living environment, but don’t sweat a little bit of clutter. I will most likely vacuum and mop on a schedule because I can’t stand when the floor is dirty/dusty.

Some of my hobbies are playing video games, swimming, and going to the gym. I’m also a swim instructor/lifeguard, so if you ever want some private lessons, I don’t mind helping you out. I’m planning to try to work in Toronto to make enough money to fund my rent.

I have a girlfriend who will occasionally stay on weekends, and we’ll usually spend most of the day outside studying at TMU or out exploring the city.

I’m currently learning how to live on my own, and I’m trying my best to learn how to cook meals to save money.

In terms of personality, I’m pretty high energy outside of being at home, but once I’m at home, I usually am a lot more chill and just need time to relax and prepare for the next day.
