Hi everyone & Happy New Year 🙂

I’m Svenja, originally from Germany and currently in Toronto on a Work & Travel visa. I’m looking for a room in or around downtown Toronto starting February, initially until the end of April (short-term), with the option to extend if it feels right. Budget is up to $1,000.

I usually work from home and head to Etobicoke about 2–3 days a week for work – my dogs usually come with me, but they’re also totally fine staying home alone.

I’m easygoing, respectful, clean, and very used to shared living – I actually run a shared apartment in my own house in Germany, so I really value good communication and a positive, relaxed home atmosphere.

I’m vegetarian, but I have no problem at all if roommates eat meat – everyone should feel comfortable being themselves.

I’d be moving in with my two very sweet dogs: 🐶 a 14-year-old cute and funny Beagle (very calm) 🐶 a 5-year-old rescue mix – a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’s playful, loving, and hilarious Both are quiet, well-behaved, and used to apartments and shared homes.

I’m looking for a friendly, open-minded place– women or men, doesn’t matter. I love meeting new people and would be happy to live with cool roommates you can occasionally hang out with. I don’t need parties every day and I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing – but I also have no problem with parties, get-togethers, or a social home.
