My name is Rayhan Jabbar, and I’m a 4th-year English and Sociology student at the University of Toronto (born and raised in Toronto).

A bit about me: my primary work is in academic research and communications, and I also receive school funding/grants. Most recently, I worked as a Projects & Communications Assistant with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, and as a Sociology Research Assistant on a University of Toronto/Penn State study.

Outside of school, I also work professionally as a Canadian actor and musician. My schedule is generally full (classes, research work, rehearsals/on-set days), and I keep my home life quiet, tidy, and low-key. I’m respectful of neighbours and take pride in keeping a clean space—I’m looking for a calm home where I can study and recharge.

In terms of leasing requirements: I can provide first and last month’s rent, and I pay reliably by e-transfer (or another method you prefer). The only item I may not be able to provide is a traditional credit check, since I don’t currently have a credit card or credit history as a student. That said, I’m happy to provide alternatives such as proof of enrollment, proof of income/funding, pay stubs/offer letters, and references (employer or previous landlord), if that helps.

I’m looking for a lease from February 2026 to at least April 2026, but I’m very open to a 1-year lease or extending longer—my expected graduation is January 2027.
