Autumn Nguyen

Hello, my name is Autumn. I’m 22 years old and a first-year art student at York University. In my free time, I enjoy spending alone time with my pet bird, Linguine (small-medium bird, cockatiel), or having casual dates with my boyfriend. I can be quite reserved at times as I value my space, but that doesn’t prevent me from being friendly and super easy to get along with. I enjoy meeting new people, and chatting. Beyond roommates, I’m open to being friends, too!

I’m flexible with living agreements at the moment. I’m either looking for a place for myself and my bird, or for a roommate to rent out a 2-3 bedroom space along with my boyfriend as well.

As a roommate, I take responsibility for my messes and personal belongings, and value initiative to take care of our space, not only for myself, but for my peers as well. For a clear mind, I enjoy a clean and organized space. As for any habits I have, I find that I’m both a night-owl and an early-bird, but I’m quiet and in my own room. For cooking, I find that I don’t have the energy to cook for long, so you wouldn’t find me hogging the kitchen. And socially, I don’t tend to bring guests (but I’m completely comfortable with guests), though I do enjoy having my boyfriend over. Socially, sometimes I drink or get high, but it isn’t often and if done at home, it’ll be reserved to myself and wouldn’t be made a problem to anyone else. The last thing I’d want to do ever is make others feel trapped and invaded, so I like to keep out of the way.

Overall, I’m a friendly, respectful and caring housemate looking for a comfortable place to call home for me and my bird, while I study in school. I look forward to my time as a student, and would love to have awesome roommates be apart of those memories. Thank you!
