I’m an early forties queer white American (sorry!) woman who will graduate from UBC with my master’s in April. I will be working at UBC through September, hopefully to extend, but life gets squishy at that point. In terms of being home, some days I work from home, some days I’m at UBC, and over the summer, I’ll be away for a week or two on various projects. I’m almost always out of the house at least two nights a week at book clubs, board game nights, and swing dancing. I batch cook dinner twice a week and mostly eat salads/snacks the rest of the time. I do eat meat (sorry!) More about what you probably care about in a roommate: Rockband - Silent= 80% silent. I’m mostly reading and writing when I’m home and am pretty sensitive to sound, especially after 11. Slob - Showhome=75% show home. I’ve had roommates more meticulous than me, but I tend toward tidy. Life of the party - Hermit = 60% hermit. I love when I can hang out with roommates casually, but often just hang alone when I’m home. I’m also medium-COVID conscious (vaccinated/mask on buses/public spaces, but not with small groups of friends.)
