Hi, I’m Marcos.

I’d describe myself as very active, sporty and open-minded. My heart truly belongs to volleyball – it’s my biggest passion – although bouldering and skiing definitely have a place in my life as well. I love being outdoors, moving, and staying curious about new experiences.

I’ve been living in shared flats for about eight years now and even founded one together with a close friend – the place I’m currently still living in. For me, a shared flat is more than just splitting rent. A harmonious atmosphere really matters to me. Living completely past each other wouldn’t feel right; I enjoy real connection, conversations, and shared moments, while of course respecting everyone’s space and routines.

Cooking has never caused complaints so far – and somehow the sun has always shone the next day, so I’ll take that as a good sign.🤪😇

Originally, I’m from Cuba and moved to Germany with my dad about 15 years ago. Since then, Germany has been home, and I’ve focused on my studies and building my path here. Now, after finishing university, I feel ready for a new chapter. I want to fully embrace my passion for traveling and experiencing life from different perspectives – and Vancouver will be the starting point of that one-year journey.🤘🏼

There’s definitely more to tell, but I’d much rather talk and get to know each other properly.
